How can I convince my boss to make corporate data security a priority? Why must executives always wait until a crisis occurs before taking action? Our company IS our IP. That’s all we are at the end of the day. Yet right now our doors are wide open to even the most rudimentary hacking techniques.
So naturally I’ve been researching What Data Security Is on my own, hoping I can find a way to sell the idea to the execs. Perhaps a scary news story will wake them up
The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and I’ll be the one on the hot seat if a breach ever does occur, so there’s not much choice in the matter.

While trying to decide on what cd duplication and dvd replication services I would use to do my DVD replication, I learned that the fastest and cheapest way to duplicate a disc is to copy it using a computer that has a DVD recorder and off-the-shelf writing software. Many software packages, besides the ability to create disks from scratch will also duplicate a majority of standard DVD formats, however for specific information one first needs to check with the manufacturer.
For copying larger numbers of discs various dedicated DVD duplication solutions are available including machines that function by themselves or with the assistance of operators. I will most probably go into this in a following blog but right now I do not wish to turn this post into an essay on the subject of DVD Duplication and replication.

Through a Java certification course In his book, "Effective Java", the author, Joshua Bloch discuss this the relative effective in this of language usage in Java. He contends that there is many important points to consider when undertaking a java certification course. He notes that programming languages are likely to be evolve over the course of time unlike languages that are used in books, newspapers and magazines. A programmer will fall short if they just produce code that is understood by others. It is important to also organize the code so that it can be modified. If there are five ways to write code for a task, perhaps only 2 will be efficient and applicable to other future software releases, for example.

Working from home is great and all, but man do I get a nasty case of cabin fever sometimes. I’m thinking of investing in a
wireless Internet laptop so I can get out and be around people more often. Maybe get a little sun and look a little less like gollum.
Seriously, I can’t imagine why it took so long for Wireless Internet Cards For LaptopsSecure Wireless Laptop Connections to become popular. Working from anywhere - what’s not to like? It’s like having a new office every day. So much nicer than the depressing cube I used to be stuck in.
Where to work tomorrow? Starbucks? The library? The park even? So many choices.

We really need to overhaul our information security strategy. I’m concerned that our data is vulnerable to attacks from the outside. Our network just isn’t secure.
So I’ve started learning about Data Security Services on my own. I think a full blown worst case analysis might help to move things along - it might give the guys upstairs an idea of just how much damage could be done.
Naturally they’ll all be pointing the finger at me if we have a major breach, despite their refusal to implement the changes I’m asking for. Sh*t rolls down hill.
